What is more depressing than confusion? The inability to make a decision and the state in which strong emotions take over were some of the thoughts I had in creating this piece. I made a strong, vibrant yellow division between the confused, abstract left of the piece and the defined, soft right area of the piece. While confusion and sadness often coincide, they also conjure up very diverse imagery. Sadness is simple and immediate. Confusion is cluttered and disturbing.
