If the universe is, itself, intelligent, then it is a self-realizing and self-creating entity. This piece depicts the rise of consciousness as hot, anthropomorphic form, from within the matrix of the cool, blue universe. My thoughts about philosophy and the struggle to understand nature began to shape this piece before I understood what it would become as a final piece.
