This is an abstraction of a pawn on a chess board done in a deep, dark blue and red color scheme. This piece shows the brush strokes and is an attempt to preserve the emotion and energy I had at the time of this piece's creation. At times in life, do we not all wonder if we are not just pawns under the control of natural or political forces?
