I was reading Aldous Huxley's "The Door's of Perception" that was once part of the intellectual sphere and has since become more of a hippie artifact. What can be learned from exploring consciousness should never be underestimated. We forget the wise shamans of our past and of other cultures who learned about the fabric of reality by embarking on sacred psychonautic journeys. We have become spiritually sterile when we no longer creatively explore the fundamental reasons for our own existence.
