Jackie was born an artist and loved to draw from an early age but she was largely self-taught in oils and acrylics. Prior to marriage, she pursued a very successful career as a fashion artist in Detroit, Michigan. Later, while living in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she entered one of her paintings in a juried art show and won the first place award for oils, and was then also given the award for “Best of Show. This painting is now owned by a private collector. |
