Maria is a local Albuquerque artist specializing in abstract paintings. She is a part-time artist. She works full-time in the medical field and is a wife and mother.

Maria started painting at an early age, experimenting with different forms of art. Her passion has come to be abstract. She feels that she creates images which are not seen in everyday life and stimulate different emotions in the viewer.
