My teaching emphasis will be on brushwork, color mixing, and technical information such as drying time, toxicity, under painting and color theory. My approach to teaching is to cover the three senses; hearing, seeing and feeling as the paintbrush moves across the canvas. Students of all experience levels will feel at home in this hands on exploration as they will learn a lot of useful information quickly while keeping frustration to a minimum. We will use pictures and original artwork of your choice to create your masterpiece as this class encourages artistic freedom. I will teach you how to quickly and cleanly erase a mistake in wet paint so you can keep creating and do it right. I will even explain why you can use black paint even though it is said to be taboo. Classes are fun and educational, as the canvas becomes a magical place where ordinary things come to life.
