ABOUT THE ARTIST PATRICIA VAN WINKLE

Oil painting has been my passion all my life. As an artist my paintings are about capturing what I see and feel, rendered with colors. My inspirations come from photographs, nostalgia and emotion. I am known to use several photographs to create one masterpiece. When I am painting I am able to express the beauty and the magic of what I see with my heart and soul. There is a story to be told with every piece of artwork that I create whether it is a landscape, still life, Tuscan theme, fairy or Day of the Dead paintings. To me this is a language all its own, it speaks to you. That?s my gift to the viewer. My oil paintings are throughout the United States in private collections. Dare to learn and explore the awesome world of painting landscapes, still life, fairies, Tuscan themes, religious and Day of the Dead themes, etc.

A beautiful moment in my life as an artist was receiving an e-mail from Tuscany, Italy, from a fellow artist being absolutely blown away by my oil paintings.

Every artist dips his brush into his own soul, and paints his own being into his paintings.
